The second China International Conference on Insurance and Risk Management will be held from July 24 through July 27, 2011 in Beijing, China. The conference is jointly organized by Tsinghua University’s China Center for Insurance and Risk Management (CCIRM) and the Cass Business School of City University, London.

The 2011 CICIRM follows upon last year's successful meeting in Xining, Qinghai Province, which launched an annual forum in China for international communication and cooperation in the studies of insurance, risk management, and actuarial science. CICIRM attendees will have the opportunity to hear distinguished speakers, present recent academic and practical research in concurrent sessions, and exchange ideas with leading international researchers.

Presentation topics should address issues of current importance in insurance, risk management, actuarial science, and related areas. Research related to specific aspects of China’s markets and government programs is especially welcome, and concurrent sessions will be organized in both English and Chinese.
Conference papers in Chinese or English are both committed, but all papers must have the English title, English abstract and English reference. CICIRM 2011 will be published by Tsinghua University Press, which will be submitted for indexing by CPCI (ISTP). All papers should be formatted in the fixed format(download the format template). Submissions should be made through this website.
The proceedings of CICIRM 2011, published by Tsinghua University Press, are accepted for inclusion in Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI, former ISTP). 42 conference papers, included in 6 chapters, have been included and indexed by CPCI.
